At first glance, Rebecca Chamberlain’s artwork appears photographic. Upon closer observation, one realizes the work is an alluring ink drawing, with the overt source being the interior of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Zimmerman house. The rendered cement windows of Wright are echoed by Chamberlain in the drawings frame, ultimately creating a physically multilayered experience that is inspired by a romanticized version of reality.
